George Ferko is a dynamic leader whose drive for achievement and continuous improvement propels his success. With a focus on creating value and fostering process excellence, George has honed his skills in sales and organizational development through extensive experience in sales, recruiting, leadership, and management. George believes that sales leadership includes all activity that leads to accelerating revenue growth and is a long time champion of cross-functional collaborations that drive Product and Ecosystem Led Growth. As the Director of Supplier Growth at BILL, he is focused on scaling an enterprise sales team and bringing BILL’s newest product to some of the largest brands in the U.S., ensuring a strong market presence and delivering significant value to customers.

Prior to joining BILL George led various sales teams in the US at PayPal. In his most recent role at PayPal, George contributed to the company’s growth by leading a team of elite salespeople covering mid-market in a highly competitive environment where that team increased new revenue bookings by 189% YoY from 2022 to 2023. While at PayPal George led the transformation of the US outbound sales teams ranging from the low end of SMB up through their mid-market enterprise segments. These sales teams experienced similar step changes in growth driven by strong talent management, people development, and cross-functional pipeline generation.

George's journey in sales leadership began at Vector Marketing, where he excelled in recruiting, training, and coaching sales representatives. His ability to build and lead high-performing teams was evident as he guided them to develop substantial client lists and drive significant profits with efficiency and effectiveness. These teams consistently ranked among the highest in the country for new sales representative performance as a result of George’s thoughtful hiring, training, and development strategies. This is also where George first started coaching other leaders to success.

In addition to his sales expertise, George's background in scientific research and engineering at Lehigh University has equipped him with strong analytical and problem-solving skills. His graduate research involved the study of atomic grain boundary transport transparent magnesium aluminate spinel through transmission electron microscopy, focused ion beam, electron backscatter diffraction, and atomic probe tomography. As an engineer he developed very strong analytical skills as well as skills in instruction and teaching. 

George's upbringing in the Pennsylvania town of Palmerton, influenced by his parents' exceptional work ethic and emphasis on self-education, laid the foundation for his relentless pursuit of growth. Growing up in a rural area taught him to be an independent learner and to compete against himself. He is passionate about learning and continuously seeks new opportunities to expand his knowledge and skills. This passion extends beyond his professional life, as he enjoys skiing in the winter and mountain biking in the summer.
